Scientist wins round-trip ticket

Kelvin Ramsey receives a round-trip airfare certificate from Susan Bogan, director of Dining Services.
2:44 p.m., Jan. 19, 2005--Kelvin Ramsey, a scientist with the Delaware Geological Survey, is the winner of the UD Dining Services drawing for an American Airlines travel certificate good for one round-trip ticket anywhere in the continental United States. Only one winner was selected at UD.

Ramsey said he was surprised when he read the e-mail telling him he had won. “I just filled-out the survey because I wanted input. I don’t travel a great deal, so I have no idea where I’ll go yet. There are so many places, especially between the Mississippi River and the Rockies.”

UD students, faculty and staff who completed the online survey about campus lifestyles were eligible for the drawing. Dining Services regularly conducts surveys in order to better respond to changing needs of the campus.
