Delaware women’s soccer defeats St. Francis, 1-0

3:15 p.m., Oct. 22, 2003--University of Delaware senior Francesca Termini found the net in the 25th minute to lift the Fightin’ Blue Hens women’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over St. Francis College on Tuesday afternoon in Loreto, Pa.

The goal was Termini’s eighth of the season and the third game-winner she has scored this year.

UD redshirt freshman goalkeeper Bonnie Mills had four saves and picked up her second career victory and first shutout for the Hens.

With the victory, UD improved to 8-4-2. The Hens have won two straight and have gone 4-1-1 in their last six games.

UD will resume Colonial Athletic Association play with a two-game home stand at the Delaware Mini-Stadium this weekend. The Hens will take on George Mason University at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 24, and James Madison University at 1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 26.
