Glaucoma screening set March 16

9:22 a.m., March 11, 2004--Representatives of the Delaware Ophthalmology Center will be on campus from 10 a.m.1 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, in Room 310 Gore Hall to perform employee glaucoma screenings.

Glaucoma has been called the "silent thief of sight" because often there are no symptoms. Early diagnosis is the best way to
prevent vision loss.

The five-minute screening, sponsored by UD’s Employee Wellness Center, involves nondilating eye drops and a vision test.

The cost is five Wellness dollars. To schedule an appointment, call 831-8388.
