‘The Wannabe Jew’ encores April 30-May 2

9:58 a.m., April 13, 2004--Back by popular demand, “The Wannabe Jew” will return to Hartshorn Theatre Friday, April 30, through Sunday, May 2.

Written and performed by Hayden Adams, an alumnus of UD’s Professional Theatre Training Program, the play will be presented at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 30; 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 1; and 12:30 p.m., Sunday, May 2.

The play chronicles the childhood of a Presbyterian boy growing up in a Jewish neighborhood and explores how the strong bonds of community can transcend cultural differences.

Tickets for the Friday and Saturday evening performances are $17 for the general public, $15 for UD faculty, staff and senior citizens and $10 for students. Tickets for the Saturday and Sunday matinees are $14 for the general public, $12 for UD faculty, staff and senior citizens and $7 for students. For more information, call UD1-HENS.
