3:55 p.m., Aug. 1, 2003--The University’s 27 newest graduates were honored July 26 in a ceremony that officially marked the end of their coursework in the Master of Physical Therapy degree program. The noon graduation ceremony was held in Clayton Hall and was followed by a private reception.

July 2003 Master of Physical Therapy program graduates and faculty

The master’s program, which is offered in a sequence of continuous courses, requires that students complete 53 credit hours of class work and 18 credit hours of hands-on training before they can graduate.

While some students fulfill their practical coursework at local rehabilitation centers and hospitals, many complete their hands-on training at the University of Delaware Physical Therapy Clinic. Located on the ground floor of the McKinly Lab on East Delaware Avenue, the full-service clinic is staffed with certified physical therapists and is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
