Pottery sale fund-raiser slated April 30-May 1

4:01 p.m., April 24, 2004--If you’re looking for unique and useful gifts for Mother’s Day or graduation, mark your calendars for the upcoming student pottery sale. Held from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, April 30, and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, May 1, the semiannual sale will feature mugs, bowls, urns, vases and lidded boxes of all shapes and sizes made by UD students.

The sale, which is sponsored by the Department of Fine Arts and Visual Communications, will be held on the first floor of the Studio Arts Building, at the corner of North College and Cleveland avenues. All proceeds will help ceramics students fund next year’s trip to the National Council on the Education for the Ceramic Arts conference. For more information, call the ceramics area at 831-2706.
