Marine policy open house set March 16

2:25 p.m., March 8, 2004--The Marine Policy Program of the College of Marine Studies is holding an open house at 4 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, in 231 Purnell Hall.

The free information-gathering event is for students interested in pursuing graduate degrees in marine policy and will include a brief overview of the program, the types of degrees offered, the availability of financial aid and the types of careers available to graduates. Marine Policy Program faculty will be present to answer questions and chat individually with students.

The event is open to the public, and undergraduates, especially juniors and senors, are particularly encouraged to attend. Complimentary pizza and soft drinks will be served. For more information, call Jackie Bijansky, staff assistant in marine studies, at 831-2733.
