UD faculty, student poems on view downtown

3:48 p.m., April 1, 2004--Paintings by Wilmington artist Maria Keane and framed poems by Delaware poets will be on display from Sunday, April 4, to Friday, April 30, at the Caffé Gelato, 90 East Main St., Newark.

An opening reception to mark the exhibit, which is part of the Poems in Newark program to hang poems in public places, will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, April 4, at Caffé Gelato.

UD faculty and students whose works will be featured include Marisa de los Santos, Devon Miller-Duggan, Alex Long, Allen Heggen, Anne Colwell, James Keegan and Fleda Brown who, is Delaware’s poet laureate.
