Marine Studies’ At Sea goes online

4:03 p.m., May 18, 2004--The University of Delaware’s College of Marine Studies has launched a new e-newsletter, At Sea.

At Sea, available at [www.udel.edu/cms-news], includes news and feature stories from the college, as well as notices of upcoming events and lectures.

The premier issue heralds the accomplishments of students, faculty and staff; lists lectures and events open to the public; and includes a feature story on Delaware’s horseshoe crabs, crawling over area beaches for 300 million years.

The site is a mix of news you can use, such as registration deadlines for workshops, and news features, including one that explains professors’ takes on sweeping changes proposed for the governance of U.S. marine resources.

At Sea also offers a search engine to take readers to past articles about the College of Marine Studies.
