The fun stretches on The Green from Memorial Hall to Main Street; on Main Street from Elkton Road to Tyre Avenue; on the Academy Lawn; and at the Newark Shopping Center.

Presented by the city of Newark, Newark Arts Alliance, UD, Christina School District, and the Downtown Newark Partnership, the event offers visiting families the opportunity to explore downtown Newark.

  • Fine art and homemade craft vendors and competitions;
  • Community information booths and activities;
  • Bazaar and flea market area;
  • Sidewalk chalk festival;
  • Art cars;
  • Dining and retail specials at downtown Newark merchants;
  • Live broadcast by The River (94.7FM);
