Free music, movement classes for kids July 28-31

11:35 a.m., July 17, 2003--Children up to the age of 5 are invited to participate in a series of free music and movement classes from July 28-31 at UD, sponsored by Musikgarten.

The classes, taught by early childhood music specialists, will be part of a demonstration class for teacher training workshops and seminars for teachers in early childhood education. The children will learn songs, explore movement and listening activities and play instruments. The master teacher is Jill Hannagan of the Hockessin Music School.

The class for infants up to 18 months will be from 10:30-11 a.m., July 28. Toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years will have a class from 10:30-11 a.m., Tuesday July, 29. Children ages 3 to 5 will have class July 30-31, from 10:30-11:15 a.m. All classes will be held in the Amy E. du Pont Music Building. Parents are expected to attend and encouraged to participate.

There are no requirements, but class enrollment is limited.
