'Making the Most of Menopause' set Oct. 2

3:10 p.m., Sept. 16, 2003--UD’s Employee Wellness Center will sponsor a program on “Making the Most of Menopause” from 12:05 – 12:55 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, in 112 McDowell Hall.

“We want our employees to have access to reliable information, so they can make appropriate choices when it comes to their health care,” Marianne Carter, director of the Wellness Center, said.

Dr. Janice Nevin, an OB/GYN expert from Christiana Care Health Services, will discuss recent advancements in menopause treatment and self-care ideas during the program. Dr. Nevin also will answer questions on managing symptoms.

Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Attendees are eligible to win a door prize of two tickets to the Winterthur Garden and Galleries. The program cost is 10 Wellness dollars. Register online at [www.udel.edu/wellness/], or call 831-8388 for more information.
