UD mens lacrosse team No. 19 in national poll 5:14 p.m., May 3, 2004--The University of Delaware mens lacrosse team has jumped back into the national rankings at No. 19 in the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll released Monday afternoon. The Fightin Blue Hens had been ranked as high as No. 11 before a three-game losing streak sent them out of the top 20. With consecutive wins over Sacred Heart and Denver, UD regained a place in the rankings. UD is one of three Colonial Athletic Association teams that have achieved national ranking, with Towson leading the way at No. 11 and Villanova at No. 14. The Hens will face Villanova in the CAA championship tournament semifinals at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, at Villanova Stadium. That same evening in Towson, the Tigers will face Hofstra.
