Mark W. Killinger
 

May 17, 2004--Mark W. Killinger, 49, of Newark, died Wednesday, May 12, at Christiana Hospital in Newark.

Mr. Killinger worked as a senior prepress operator for UD’s Graphic Communications Center for 24 years.

Born in Omaha, Neb., he was graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Wilmington.

Mr. Killinger was a member of the Killinger Foundation Board of Directors and former president of West Chester University Golden Rams Football Club. His grandfather, W. Glenn Killinger, former West Chester University coach and athletic director, was instrumental in his love for West Chester University sports.

He is survived by his parents, William G. Killinger of Wilmington and Karol Abboud Hannover of Wilmington; a sister, Jessica L. Killinger of Wilmington; an uncle, Jesse R. Abboud of West Haven, Conn.; and four cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 17, at the Dellavecchia, Reilly & Smith Funeral Home, 410 North Church St., West Chester, Pa., where visitation will be from noon-1 p.m.

Interment will be private.
