Morris Library exhibit remembers Holocaust victims 1:56 p.m., Jan. 9, 2004--Names on a List: Caught Up in the Holocaust, an exhibition of public documents collected from 1933-45, will be on display from Tuesday, Feb. 3, through Friday, May 21, in the Information Room at the Morris Library. The exhibit, which is curated by David Langenberg, associate librarian in the collection development department, features books, government documents, videos and other research materials that list the names of victims and survivors of the Holocaust. Earning its name from the meticulous record-keeping policies of Gestapo authorities, the exhibit highlights biographical details of some of the 6 million individuals who perished in the Holocaust. The exhibition is free and open to the public during library hours. For more information, call 831-2231. Article by Becca Hutchinson To learn how to subscribe to UDaily, click here. |
