Employee glaucoma screening set June 8

3:20 p.m., May 10, 2004--Glaucoma gradually steals sight without warning and often without symptoms. The best way to prevent vision loss from glaucoma is early diagnosis and treatment.

UD’s Employee Wellness Center is offering glaucoma screening from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, in 310 Gore Hall for 5 Wellness dollars. The five-minute session can determine if participants are at risk for developing glaucoma.

Glaucoma screening involves insertion of non-dilating eye drops and a quick vision test. Results will be available at the time of the screening.
