Research funding workshop slated for April 22

2:53 p.m., April 14, 2004--A workshop on electronic grant and funding resources is set for 9-10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 22, in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room at the Morris Library.

The one-and-a-half-hour workshop focuses on electronic resources that can be used to search for grants and other funding sources. Tips will include strategies for searching databases such as FC Search, a Foundation Center database, and Community of Science Funding opportunities. The workshop also will cover grant notification services and other Internet resources, such as private foundations’ web sites and philanthropy-related discussion lists.

The free workshop is open to anyone with a valid University ID card, but pre-registration is required. Interested participants should register by 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, by calling 831-6949. For all other questions about the workshop, e-mail Carol Rudisell, librarian, at [rudisell@udel.edu].
