Lecture to focus on women scientists, engineers

3:55 p.m., April 6, 2004--UD’s fourth annual Women of Excellence lecture and reception will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, April 8, in the Trabant University Center Theatre. Sue V. Rosser, dean of Ivan Allen College, the liberal arts college at Georgia Institute of Technology, will speak on “Institutional Transformation to Attract and Retain Women Scientists and Engineers.”

A reception to honor the speaker and UD women graduate students will immediately follow the lecture.

The lecture is presented by the Commission on the Status of Women, the Office of the Vice President for Administration, the Office of Women’s Affairs and the Visiting Women’s Scholars Fund.
