Student wins round-trip air ticket

3:23 p.m., March 11, 2004--Theresa Elizabeth Moore, a UD sophomore with a double major in chemistry and criminal justice, has won an American Airlines round-trip ticket to anywhere in the continental United States for taking an online Dining Services survey last fall.

“I haven’t decided where I will go,” Moore said. “When I found out that I had won, I got really excited. I've never won anything before, so, it’s like—wow! It’s very exciting to actually win something worthwhile.”

The University, Dining Services and food supplier Aramark conducted the online survey to learn how to improve campus dining services and gain a better understanding of campus lifestyles and the role Dining Services plays in them.

Those completing the survey were able to enter a drawing to win an American Airlines travel certificate good for one round-trip ticket anywhere in the continental United States. Only one winner was selected at UD.
