Janis Ian concert canceled

11:03 a.m., May 18, 2004--The Janis Ian concert set for May 19 has been canceled due to a decision made by Ian’s booking agent.

The concert, which was set to take place at 8 p.m., Wednesday, in Mitchell Hall, will not be rescheduled.

Individuals who purchased tickets from Listening Post Productions should call Mary Post at 834-3732.

Those who purchased tickets for the concert can get a full refund by visiting the Bob Carpenter Center box office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekdays through Friday, May 28, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 22.

The Bob Carpenter Center box office will be closed Saturdays beginning May 29, and will be open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. only beginning Tuesday, June 1.
