Scan cards won’t be needed for fall meal plans

3:57 p.m., May 19, 2004--Students and parents shouldn’t expect to receive dining plan scan cards with their fall semester University bills.

Beginning Aug. 1, students will use an online form to select and change their dining plan.

The online form replaces the Choose or Change scan card that has been sent with semester bills. The automated telephone system won’t be available for dining plans either.

As of Aug. 1, students will be able to sign into the web site from on or off campus and change their dining plan as many times as they wish from Aug. 1-31 and one more time from Aug. 31—Sept. 14.

All students who live in traditional residence halls are required to have a full dining plan.
