Bus trips planned for season concerts
10:55 a.m., Oct. 16, 2003--The Grand Opera House in Wilmington might be too far for most students to approach by foot, but Student Centers is making the Grands cultural riches easily available with a new series of bus trips this fall.
Scheduled to coincide with the opening nights of all 2003-04 Delaware Symphony Orchestra and Opera Delaware concerts, the shuttles will depart from the patio of the Trabant University Center at 5:30 p.m. and will arrive at the Grand Opera House at approximately 6 p.m., one-half hour before show time. Approximate time of return to campus is 9:30 p.m., but will vary depending on individual performances.
The trips are offered to students, faculty and University staff with valid ID cards, as well as to accompanying guests. A $15 fee includes the round-trip bus fare and the concert ticket. Seats go fast, and reservations are highly recommended. For more information, call 831-1296, or visit room 217 at the Trabant University Center from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, to reserve a ticket.
