Bookstore’s Student Appreciation Days set Dec. 8-10

4 p.m., Dec. 6, 2003--The UD Bookstore offers students a chance to jumpstart their holiday shopping with its annual Student Appreciation Days sale, which runs Monday, Dec. 8, through Wednesday, Dec. 10.

From 8 a.m.-6 p.m., on those three days, the Perkins Student Center Bookstore offers students a 20 percent storewide discount. Students also are invited to enter a drawing for a $50 bookstore gift certificate. Complimentary refreshments will be offered each day during the sales to shoppers who visit from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

In addition, random prize drawings on Wednesday, Dec. 10, will entitle lucky shoppers to two tickets to “Miss Saigon” at the Du Pont Theatre, as well as a $75 Visa Gift Card to be used as a restaurant voucher. The drawings will take place late in the day, and no purchase is necessary to enter the drawing pool.

The 20 percent discount extends to all store merchandise, except for textbooks and certain other excluded items.

For more information, call the Perkins Student Center Bookstore at 831-2637.
