The 2004 UD Benefits Open Enrollment period continues through May 21. A publication detailing benefit options and highlights for the new fiscal year will be distributed to employees the week of May 10.

During the flexible benefits open enrollment period, employees can change their elections, check their benefit costs and confirm their enrollment for July 1 by logging on to FlexNet. To log on, employees will need:

  • A computer with Internet access;
  • Their UDel Net ID and password; or
  • Their Social Security Number and PIN (Personal Identification Number).

For the convenience of employees who need assistance and for those who do not have access to the Internet, a computer work station is available in the Office of Human Resources at 413 Academy St. from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This year, each covered employee (not just those making benefit changes) is required to confirm their benefits choices. In addition, the State Personnel Office requires a completed “Spousal Coordination of Benefits Policy” form of any employee who covers his/her spouse under a University health plan. This form will be provided to you electronically as you confirm your benefits enrollment online. Completed forms should be returned to the Office of Human Resources at 413 Academy St.

Human Resources staff are available to answer questions about Flexible Benefits and enrollment. For more information, call 831-2171 or send an e-mail to [ben-serv@udel.edu].
