AED/CPR training classes offered

11:55 a.m., July 14, 2003--UD’s Department of Occupational Health & Safety will hold training classes in using automatic external defibrillators (AED) and administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in Room 130 of the General Services Building on the following days and times:

• Monday, July 21, 9 a.m.- noon
• Friday, July 25, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
• Monday, July 28, 9 a.m.- noon
• Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

These classes are open to University employees and students who need recertification, a refresher class or initial certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Individuals who work in a building where AEDs have been installed will have preference if the classes fill.
