Amnesty Int’l. head to discuss war on terror
11:29 a.m., March 4, 2004--A talk on human rights in the war on terror is set for 6:30 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, in 103 Gore Hall.
“Tainted Legacy: 9/11 and the Ruin of Human Rights” will be presented by William F. Schulz, executive director of Amnesty International USA. Schulz will discuss the effects of the Bush administration’s war on terror and how to balance security and human rights in the age of terrorism.
