May 20, 2003— Vera Lee Burger, 61, Townsend, died May 15 at Christiana Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Burger was a senior secretary in UD’s Department of Consumer Studies, retiring from UD in 1998.

A graduate of Middletown High School, she and her husband, Andy, operated Level End Farm/Dairy in Townsend for 31 years.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Joseph's Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 630, Middletown, DE 19709; or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 100 West 10th St., Wilmington DE 19801.
