April 25, 2003—She was assistant professor of educational development at the University of Delaware Business, retiring in 1974 after 23 years of service.
She earned her master’s degree in business from the University of Pittsburgh.

One of the oiginal residents at Cokesbury, she was involved in music all of her life and established and coordinated a Concert Series at Cokesbury. She was a pianist who played for chapel services and actively performed in recitals, piano showcases and concerts.
