June 17, 2003— Jean H. Cranston, 85, of Dover and formerly of Seaford, died Friday, June 13, at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.

A 1939 UD graduate, Mrs. Cranston taught home economics before becoming a Kent County home economist with UD’s Cooperative Extension from 1967 until her retirement in 1982.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 202 North St., Seaford, DE 19973; or to Christ Episcopal Church, State & Water Streets, Dover, DE 19901.
