Lane restrictions on Summit Bridge March 7

The Army Corps of Engineers has informed the Delaware Department of Transportation that it will be closing the right lane on both sides of the Summit Bridge from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, March 7.

The lane will be closed to allow workers to move equipment onto the bridge for vegetation control and to work on fencing in the arch area of the bridge.

Motorists should only experience minimal delays, as traffic will be permitted to travel in the left lane of the bridge while work is being completed.

For the latest in traffic and related information, visit DelDOT's web site at www.deldot.net or tune-in to WTMC-AM, 1380.
