Summit Bridge lane restrictions begin Nov. 29

The Army Corps of Engineers has informed the Delaware Department of Transportation that it will be closing the right lane on the southbound side of the Summit Bridge from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 29. The lane will be closed to allow crews to work on the bearings of the bridge.

Motorists should only experience minimal delays, as traffic will be permitted to travel in the left lane of the bridge while the work is being done. The northbound side of the bridge will not be affected.
