Student events page offers latest info on what's happening

What’s new, what’s going on, what’s happening, what activities and services are available on campus for students—it’s now easy for students to find out with a one-stop visit to the new Student Events web page at [www.udel.edu/studentevents].

“It’s an idea that works,” Corinne Bria, Delaware Undergraduate Student Congress president, said. “On one concise page, you can find accurate information about what, where and when events are taking place for Delaware students.

“Our input was sought, and it took a lot of work. The result is a web site that reflects student needs for accurate information on campus events, activities and services. I’m enthusiastic about the web site and think it provides a real benefit for Delaware students,” Bria said.

The Student Events web page has a calendar of student events and special features on activities and organizations, such as sorority recruitment. Also featured are athletics, jobs, study abroad interest meetings and intramurals, the University’s homepage and UDaily.

Other links give access to Ticketmaster and a Tell YoUDee survey where students are invited to tell what entertainment they would like on campus.

Late-night safety escort service and bus schedules information are available.

The web page also provides a way for students to submit their own event information to the calendar section.
