Annual step show at UD May 4

The National Pan-Hellenic Council at the University of Delaware is sponsoring its annual Richard Wilson Step Show at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 4, in the Bob Carpenter Center.

This popular and traditional event, one of the biggest step shows in the Philadelphia area in the spring, features National Pan-Hellenic Council step teams, and is presented in memory of Richard A. Wilson, the first full-time African-American administrator at UD.

An after party is scheduled in the Carpenter Sports Building, located off North College Avenue, from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Admission to the step show is $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Combination tickets to both events are available in advance only for $16. Tickets can be purchased at all University of Delaware box offices, 831-4012 or charged by phone at 984-2000.

Admission to the party alone is $5 for UD students and $7 for the general public at the door.

For more information about this event, call the Center for Black Culture at 831-2991.
