Interactive job preparation seminars for graduate students
 

To prepare graduate students for the academic job market, UD is offering interactive seminars during the spring semester.

Cosponsored by the Center for Teaching Effectiveness and the MBNA Career Services Center, this series is designed to help students refine their job application skills and materials. Resume preparation, portfolio development and interviewing skills are possible topics of exploration.

Programs are scheduled on:

• “CV/Resume Preparation and Constructive Feedback,” 3:30-5:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 18, 206 Trabant University Center;

• “First Impressions Matter: Interviewing for Academic Positions,” 4-6 p.m., Monday, March 4, Multipurpose Room A, Trabant University Center;

• “Making Your Teaching Public: The Teaching Portfolio, Part I: Getting Started,” 3:30-5:30 p.m., Monday, March 18, 208 Gore Hall; and

• “Part II: Refining and Polishing,” 3:30-5:30 p.m., Monday, April 8, 208 Gore Hall.
