Summer Solve It math program offered

The University of Delaware is offering the sixth annual Summer Solve It math program for students entering grades four through eight this fall.

The program offers students interesting and challenging problems sent at mid-month in June, July and August. It encourages family involvement and includes some problems that fit in with a summer vacation.

Students can answer the problems and return them to UD for written comments and feedback.

There are two levels of difficulty, one for students entering grades four through six and another with more advanced problems for students entering grades six through eight.

Enrollment is accepted throughout the summer, and there is no deadline for registration.

For details, contact William B. Moody, professor in the School of Education, at wmoody@udel.edu.
