Great American Smoke Out is Thursday, Nov. 21
12:35 p.m., Nov. 20, 2002--On Thursday, Nov. 21, smokers across the country will volunteer to give up smoking for a day during the Great America Smoke Out.
UD’s Employee Wellness Center challenges all employees who smoke to quit for 24 hours on Nov. 21. Employees can receive a free “cold turkey” sandwich and a smoke-out stress kit if they turn in their cigarettes at the Wellness Center, located in room 125 of the Carpenter Sports Building, between 8 a.m. and noon. In addition, all participants will be entered in a drawing for a “Butts are Gross” T-shirt and a $25 gift certificate to Iron Hill Brewery on Main Street.
