Newark Police investigate robbery

Newark Police are searching for three men who robbed a 24-year-old Newark man near Academy Street and Lovett Avenue. The victim was walking in the area Thursday, Dec. 6, at 8:35 p.m. when three men in a white Honda Accord stopped and asked for money, police said. Two men jumped out of the car, grabbed the victim and took an undisclosed amount of cash from his wallet before fleeing. Anyone with information should call the Newark Police at 366-7110, ext. 413.
