July 15, 2002--The Delaware Department of Transportation advises motorists that Daisy Construction will begin a sidewalk improvement and road widening project on Red Mill Road between Darwin Drive and Mary Ella Drive on Tuesday, July 16.
The project will require intermittent lane restrictions from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., daily, until mid-October. Traffic will be able to travel in both directions using the shoulders of the road. If necessary, work will continue on weekends to complete the project on time.
Police, as well as flaggers and signs, will be on the scene throughout the project to direct motorists. Motorists should use caution when traveling through the construction work zone.
