Blue Hen spirit rally Feb. 6

A free public spirit rally will be held from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the food court of the Trabant University Center.

The event, featuring free T-shirts, free food and special Blue Hen Fever giveaways, is being held to honor UD’s three spirit teams that won national honors recently in Orlando: YoUDee, the first place winner of the national mascot competition, the dance team, which ranked second in its division, and the cheerleading team, which ranked third in its division.

The rally also will feature appearances by University President David P. Roselle, men’s basketball coach David Henderson, women’s basketball coach Tina Martin and Edgar Johnson, UD’s athletic director.

Music will be provided by WRDX.
