What is The Messenger?

2:00 p.m., Nov. 25, 2002--The Messenger is the University of Delaware magazine. Published four times a year by the Office of Public Relations, The Messenger is mailed to recent graduates, parents of currents students and donors to UD of $25 or more a year. Besides campus news and features about alumni and current students, each issue highlights alumni in the Class Notes section.

E-mail the Office of Alumni and University Relations at [AlumNet@udel.edu], or visit our web site at [www.udel.edu/alumni/intouch.html] to submit news for inclusion in an upcoming edition of The Messenger.

How does the University decide where to establish alumni clubs?

Alumni clubs are currently in place in areas where large numbers of University of Delaware alumni reside. Roughly 80 percent of all UD alumni live in an area served by an alumni club. Successful alumni clubs typically must have at least 500 alumni living in the region. It is difficult to support a club with fewer alumni. If you would like to serve on the alumni committee for the club in your area, contact Nancy Millard, Alumni Club coordinator, at [nmillard@udel.edu].
