A telephone cable was cut on Wednesday, March 6, temporarily disrupting voice mail telephone service on the University of Delaware campus.

Verizon, the telephone service provider, has been notified and is working to restore service.

It will be at least another 24 hours before service is restored. All repairs should be completed by the weekend.

If users are still experiencing telephone problems on Monday morning, March 11, please report the problems to the Help Center, 831-6000, for follow-up by Verizon and campus telephone technicians.

All classes, day and evening, are operating on schedule and are not affected by the telephone problems.
