Sept. 27, 2002--The official UD license plate is available in four states. Anyone with a car registered in the Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania or Virginia is eligible for the UD tags, which have become a bit hit with UD grads since their inception in 1996.
Alumni and fans of UD use the tags to reflect a wide variety of sentiments, including wedding or engagement dates, birthdays, UD football jersey numbers and, of course, graduation years.
Applications and sample plates will be available at the Freshman Parents Weekend Information Reception on Saturday, Oct. 5, and at the Parents and Family Weekend Pre-Game Brunch and Pep Rally on Saturday, Oct. 26.
