UD Opera Workshop presents a Mozart classic Nov. 22, 24

12:40 p.m., Nov. 20, 2002--The University of Delaware Opera Workshop presents Mozart’s “Marriage of Figaro” at 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22, and at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 24, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.

Directed by OperaDelaware’s Leland Kimball, Mozart’s masterpiece of musical comedy will be sung in English translation. The opera is double cast, with Rebekah Rakes of Dover sharing the lead role of Susannah with Kim Doucette. Marc Silverberg and Jason Vigunas share the title role of Figaro.

Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Bob Carpenter Center or Trabant University Center box office. For ticket information, call 302-UD1-HENS.
