Former University of Delaware quarterback Matt Nagy engineered his first touchdown drive as a professional player Friday, April 19, in an Arena Football League game.
Nagy, the backup quarterback for the New York Dragons, led his team to a touchdown with four minutes left in the game, a 43-25 loss to the Los Angeles Avengers before 13,142 fans at the Staples Center.
Nagy came off the bench to replace starter Danny Ragsdale, a second-year quarterback out of the University of Redlands in California.
The Dragons will hold their home opener at noon Sunday, April 28, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. They will take on the Buffalo Destroyers.
