UD men's lacrosse to battle Hofstra April 13
 

The University of Delaware men’s lacrosse team will face Colonial Athletic Association foe Hofstra at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 13, at Rullo Stadium.

Delaware (2-7, 0-3 in CAA) lost 17-9 to Sacred Heart of Fairfield, Conn., in a game played Saturday. The Hens got two goals each from Ryan Metzbower, Scott Evans and Chris Bickley.

Hofstra is ranked No. 12 in the most recent Inside Lacrosse media poll.

The Hens will travel to Stony Brook for a game at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 20, then will return to Rullo Stadium to close the regular season with games against Denver at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 27, against Drexel at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, and against Villanova at 7 p.m., Friday, May 3.

UD will be hosting NCAA men’s lacrosse tournament games for the first time since 1986, when Delaware Stadium was host to the NCAA semifinals and finals.

This year, Delaware will host two first-round NCAA games Sunday, May 12. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and children and can be purchased at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center box office and through Ticketmaster.
