Hens set to face CAA rival Virginia Commonwealth
 

The Virginia Commonwealth University men’s basketball team, which is fresh off a big win over Colonial Athletic Association leader UNC Wilmington, will battle the Fightin’ Blue Hens at 7:30 p.m., tonight (Jan. 30), at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center.

Virginia Commonwealth (14-6, 6-3 in conference) is led by Willie Taylor (18.4 points per game) and Domonic Jones (15.8.).

Delaware (8-11, 4-5 in conference) has had a balanced attack, with Mike Ames, Austen Rowland, Maurice Sessoms and Vohn Hunter each scoring about 9 points per game.

The last time these two teams faced off on Jan. 14, UD lost 68-57.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast live from The Bob on WRDX-FM 94.7, WJBR-AM 1290 and WVUD-FM 91.3.
