Randolph Meade
 

June 20, 2002—Randolph Meade Jr., who served as vice president of business and finance at UD from 1966-73, died June 16, 2002.

Before coming to UD, Mr. Meade spent 34 years in the Navy, retiring in 1966 as a captain in the Supply Corps.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in 1952, the National War College in 1958 and received a master’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University in 1965.

After retiring from UD, he lived in Annapolis, Md., where he served on the Board of Directors of Annapolis Life Care Inc.
