Saturday Morning Math registration begins Dec. 14

Students in grades 1 through 8 are eligible to register for the Saturday Morning Math program at the University of Delaware. Registration for the second and third sessions begins on Friday, Dec. 14, at 8 a.m. in room 105 Pearson Hall, located on the corner of Academy Street and Lovett Avenue, Newark.

The program is designed to be an enriching experience that helps children to realize that math can be fun. Time will be spent doing hands-on problem solving activities, as well as math activities on the computer.

Session II will begin Saturday, Jan. 5 and end Saturday, Feb. 9. Session III begins Saturday, Feb. 16 and ends Saturday, March 23. Those enrolling have a choice of three available time sections, beginning at 8:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and noon. Cost is $50 per each six-week session. For registration information, call (302) 831-4447.
