Mall filled with "Major Mania"

Approximately 500 students attended the 2002 “Major Mania” on Wednesday, April 10, an increase from last year’s attendance of 400, according to Faye Duffy, senior associate director of admissions.

The academic information fair–designed for students who are undeclared and need to find a major and those thinking about changing a major or looking to add a minor or major– was held from noon-2 p.m. on the Mall just south of Memorial Hall.

Duffy said roughly 45 UD departments (including both academic and non-academic units) participated, with representation from almost every major.

“Overall, the committee was really pleased with the turnout and the participation of the University community,” Duffy said.
