UD's Justin Long named Rookie of the Week
 

Oct. 15, 2002--University of Delaware freshman wide receiver Justin Long has been named the Atlantic 10 Football Conference Rookie of the Week.

In Delaware’s 23-10 win over James Madison University, Long hauled in a game-high nine receptions for 99 yards, both UD freshman single-game records.

Long caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Andy Hall with 4:41 remaining in the third quarter to give the Blue Hens a 23-7 lead.

Long leads UD in three offensive categories, with 31 receptions for 405 yards and three touchdown catches.
